Thanks to Jane Donovan for sending the following picture and history about her father, Harry O'Boyle, a 1923 East High Graduate. Jane writes, "My father was the 10th child of an Irish immigrant coal miner. He was a great athlete and given a full scholarship for football to Notre Dame by Knute Rockne, where he also played baseball and ran track. He went on to play for the Packers and the Eagles, and coached at various schools. One of his jobs was coaching and teaching at Dowling in Des Moines. After about a 10 year athletic career, he went on to work for General Motors until he retired in the 1960s. He was truly a great man and a fabulous father. East may be proud that they educated such a fine man." Harry passed away at the age of 89. Here is a picture of Harry during his days at Notre Dame.

Thanks to Suzanne Bumgardner Garrett, Class of Jan. 1961, for the following:
Above is Suzanne's Grandmother! And below is an article about her Grandmother's uncle, John Woosley.
